Corbin keeps his receipts for everything, not because he needs to remember what he’s purchased, but so he has the scratch paper to balance his finances.

There’s a drawer in the kitchen full of receipts which are full of equations. How much can he save if he trims a little off of his food budget? How many shows does he need to do to get that money? What if he lands a new gig? What if he doesn’t? Worst case, best case, all scenarios scribbled in chicken scratch addition and subtraction across at least a hundred receipts.

He never technically learned how to solve for x, but Corbin's system hasn’t failed him yet.

She’s six when she sees a boat for the first time.

The Ocean is dangerous; Carrion spit protects them from the beasties that lay beyond the shore. Few people brave those rough waters and fewer still come out alive.

The very concept that these… things... gargantuan and oppressive; are out there floating through the thick mist and passing the undersea wardens with ease? Leaves Quinn shaken and terrified.

A captain winking with an eyeless socket hardly helps the matter.

Daisy’s breath smears fog all up on the mirror, so she takes a step back.

She meets the eyes on the other side of the glass. Awake and alert. Eyebrows open, inquisitive. Daisy breathes in. Relaxes her gaze. Squints. Squints more. Raises her eyebrows, her zygomaticus muscles. She can see the gums of her teeth. Is one supposed to see the gums of the teeth? She cannot remember. She tries again. Sisyphean. That does not look right either. Her cheek hurt. She tries to picture her face as Dimitri’s, to follow the beautiful, effortless, warm sunrise glow of his lead. She can only see her own grimace.

If you had asked Jackie five years ago where he’d thought he’d be now, ‘behind a stainless steel operating table turned over into a barricade hiding from a raccoon with a knife’ would not have made the list. Then again, five years ago he thought he’d be dead by now so this is maybe marginally better.

19. Favorite outfit for the character? 

can’t pick an outfit but i have a few favorite styles: neutral toned or black outfits, loose shapeless tops; hoodies and oversized shirts, with minimally tailored pants. It’s a very korean streetwear inspired look. there’s something so appealing about wearing clothes that don’t show off his body but when he busts out those fitted office suits, B A M

in the sense that any real relationship requires time and commitment- both which kevin’s confident he could provide but he has no interest in doing so

15:  Finding an orphaned child would your character opt to take them in, find someone more qualified, or just leave them?

That is their new child. Amanita is now a parent.

24: What do you see in your character’s future? 

I really don’t know actually. If this was a book then I would make them able to overcome the City and get back to their people. But this is a RP so I’m not trying to plan out anything too far in advance. 

36: Does your character suffer from any mental health issues?

Definitely PTSD from the fire in their forest and separation anxiety.

Had not considered that aspect, actually. Don’t like that idea but you’ve got a point.
