I suspect shadowsfeather and occularist of fowl play. My phone somehow got changed to PST and I was 2 hours late to work this morning. I know I complain about the time difference between us, but I don’t think it works that way. XP

remember the time my garage door was shut and nobody was home so i had to kick the back door in to get into the house

and then it took my like 5 minutes to find the spare house key because the front door was locked

and then my fucking bedroom door was locked so i had to find one of the room keys

my ER adventures from a week ago:

go to the hospital because of reasons

told i have to have tests done which, duh

ask nurse to take it from my hands because it hurts less and also have you seen my veins there????

she says no because they're "not good enough"

warn her about phobia, get told "i had a 6 year old in here yesterday who needed 4 shots and she didn't even flinch!!!"

she fucking fails the first time and causes a giant ass brusie to form

another nurse tries my wrist, fails

lab tech comes in and takes it from my hand while not being a condescending dickwad and does just fine

another nurse takes it from my other hand for another check, does just fine

in the mean time, the first nurse keeps treating my like i'm stupid and irrational and telling me i need to calm down, despite not giving me a reason to calm down- and in fact makes my heartrate go up even more

says she ~understands~ my fear but i "need to get over it"

other nurses are totally nice and calm and soothing

and so goes my new fear of going to the ER in case i get stuck with her again
