Perhaps I missed it before, but in Subject 17 is it the first time we've seen Kilbride sporting a bluetooth in Ops? If so, I figure he's had to reluctantly learn some new technology because of the absence of Nell and Beale. Maybe that explains him being even more grumpy than usual.

Perhaps! It will be interesting to see what the dynamic is in ops as the season moves forward or if they'll actually end up getting someone new to fill in there more permanently

Have they ever given Fatima's middle name? I'm asking because in the last episode when Rountree was watching the teen soap opera she used to be in, it showed her acting credits as Fatima Namazi. But in the extended scene for "Searching" on the season 10 DVD, she tells Lance Hamilton how she was an actress until her best friend died, decided to get into law enforcement, but took her middle name. So probably a continuation error by the writers?

Lol, this kinda goes with the previous ask talking about “are deleted/extended scenes canon”! In this case, I’d say yes, it is canon. After rewatching the scene from “Searching”, I could see the name thing going either way. I’m thinking either the going by her middle name thing was a temporary thing? Or perhaps she still does go by it in her ‘real life’, but uses her legal first name for work? Her badge as seen in “Alsiyadun” lists her name just as Fatima Namazi, so no further indication either way. In order to keep it most canon-compliant in my head, I’m going to stick with, Fatima going by her middle name was a temporary and/or non-work thing.

I was reminded from an early episode that Kensi was an Agent Afloat for a year before she came to Ops. Has there ever been any fan fiction written about that part of her life?

Not that I can remember ever coming across and I just did some looking now and didn't really find anything but maybe someone else out there who's read more will know of any?

Since it looks like filming is done for the season, any idea on how many episodes they had left before stopping? I was guessing two or three. And can I assume that the PTB would tack the unfinished episodes onto (hopefully) season 12?

As far as I know, they just finished filming what would air as episode 22. I think they just had 2 left to film. Unfortunately, those last two episodes of a season are usually where the writers like to add the juicy, good character stuff, so here’s hoping they were able to add a little to what will now be the finale so we get some of that. I also really hope that means we’ll get two extra episodes next season, but no idea if that’s actually a thing that could happen or not.

Also unknown is if there were already plans to pre-film anything for season 12 at the end of this season. Obviously, that is impacted as well. Too many unanswered questions for this curious girl!

After watching A Line in the Sand again today, I was wondering if they ever explain why Callen is in a suit while the other three are in tactical gear, during that intense fire fight at the beginning. I've watched it on TV and DVD but I can't find a scene to show what Callen was doing before this to warrant a suit; am I missing something?

So I probably would not have had this answer for you before now except for the fact that I just watched this ep today.

I think that Callen is in a suit cuz when he first went undercover with Williams in The Monster, that’s how he dressed. So I guess that’s just his alias’s kinda outfit.

The blog about prompts for fan fiction and mentioning Monty reminded me...what episode was it that Deeks talked about in the future that he would have a "Monty Jr, Jr." pooch, years down the road? I can't remember it.

History, 4x15. They were talking about being retiring. 

Deeks: I cannot wait to retire. Sam: You know, you actually got to do some work before you can retire from something, Deeks. Deeks: Just gonna sit on that beach with my dog, Monty Junior, Junior. You know, just checking out the ladybirds in their bikinis. Kensi: See, you're only young once, but you can be immature forever.

Do you know if there's been any parallel GIF's ever made of Kensi fighting the henchman and taking over the SUV in "Blye, K. Part 2" and her overpowering the couple in the station wagon and taking over their vehicle in "To Live and Die in Mexico"?
