london was rather busy during the day, the city bustling with people coming in and out. penelope had mastered playing the piano during that year, which was useful when she applied for a performance job at the local cafe near her house. the owner had told her that it was her bright personality that got her the job in the end. the goddess was grateful and it showed in her piano playing. this performance wasn't one of elegance or grace that she usually did, but one of pure happiness and joy. her dark eyes were shining with every note that she played. the flowers had recently bloomed on that beautiful spring day, kids were singing along with her and by the end of the song, everyone around her was applauding her. penelope only beamed from the praise. the female was getting ready to leave as a stranger approached, a look of surprise on her face. she noticed that it was one of the regulars that came to the cafe whenever she was there to perform. it only took a charming smile and a flower to make her heart beat a little faster that day.

"Say, Vita, do you really believe that our fathers are paying their sinful debts in hell?" She questioned out of the blue as she turned on the side. She wondered if the latter had already fallen asleep. She hoped not. Shae poked the other’s cheek, before sighing and turning around.

Lifting her head up from her notebook and yawning a little. She had a microsleep, but she heard Shae's question in her half asleep state. "hm, it depends really. Was your father as hard headed as mine was? And always wanted the last say in things despite the consequences?" she asked in a sleepy tone.
