DYE // some America for our Tswana Easter
The Okavango Delta is the largest in-land delta in the world. It is well known for being home to a large array of wildlife including approximately 450 species of birds. I love the Okavango because of the beautiful scenery and how peaceful it is. In the United States, it is rare to go somewhere and not hear any cars, planes, trains, or other loud noises so I especially appreciated how quiet it is in the Delta. My experience there was almost entirely based on the lodge where we stayed which was absolutely fabulous, the Shakawe River Lodge in Shakawe, Botswana. I will let my pictures express what my words can't. Needless to say, my Instagram feed exploded after going here. Visit the lodge's website at www.shakawelodge.com
