Sophia Bush’s mysterious character on ‘Jane The Virgin’ may be shaking things up between Jane and Raf! Sophia spoke to HL about her guest-starring role on the final season!
Does Becky get drafted to RAW if she loses tonight?
Write.
Everyday. Whatever comes to mind, whatever makes you think, write.
For your pen can born
Lives and worlds
So beautiful, so astonishing,
That may sometimes
Unnerve the calm of the greatest seas
And shake up the resolve of the firmest mountains
Standing on the face of human hearts.
Jon & Colby - Shake Up
The week after Wrestlemania was mostly blissful. Having had so many days together in a row brought about a settling of routines, and neither one wanted to take it for granted. Jon knew they were in a kind of honeymoon period of their relationship but he was determined to enjoy the hell out of it. They went to Iowa first, so Colby could check in with his school, then to Vegas for a couple days of house hunting. Jon was anxious to sell, but wanted to be moved in and settled in a new place before letting people traipse all through his personal stuff to view his current home. He knew what he wanted - single level, ranch-style, three bedrooms, maybe with a den or office. Pool would be nice. Quiet suburb. Minimal upkeep. You would think it would be easy to find, but you’d be wrong. He was grateful that Colby was helping with it. He loathed house hunting; it put him on edge. Colby was the one to point out things like the natural light, the fixtures, crown molding - whatever that was. Colby was the one with taste and a sense of aesthetics; Jon was a dyed-in the wool minimalist who just never stayed in any one place long enough to develop much care for any of it. Jon mostly walked through the houses, got a feel for the place, and decided if it was a straight no or a maybe. He went with gut feelings, and so far nothing had said this is it to him. But in solely deciding based on a vibe, he missed a lot of details, and having someone point out that stuff to him made him slow down and actually consider things. Plus, if he was being honest with himself, he wanted Colby to love the place too. He wanted Colby to want to spend time there, to be comfortable… to think of it as home. He got uncomfortable with the idea when he thought about it directly. Despite both of them saying things like “forever” and “always” it was still pretty new. And honestly, he was a little gun-shy about getting that serious, so he was content to frame it as getting advice in his conscious mind. But Colby would have a key, and he was going to take Colby furniture shopping for a new bedroom set once he’d bought a place, so without asking he was kind of suggesting that he maybe, kind of, move in. He knew Colby wouldn’t leave Iowa, and he was okay with that. But they were splitting time between their homes, and so at least 20 weeks of the year they’d be in Vegas, so why not leave stuff? Why not be comfortable? And truthfully, when they were in Iowa, Colby seemed less relaxed. It puzzled Jon, but he wasn’t going to press it. They had already planned to go to Raw together on Monday for the Superstar Shake-up. Jon was booked for Smackdown, but he was just going to travel to Boston the next morning. He got a call from Mark Carrano on Saturday night, just as they were settling in with popcorn for a movie, asking if he’d be able to fly in Sunday night for Raw. Puzzled, Jon agreed. All Carrano would say was that they were asking as many people to come in to Raw as they could from the entire roster, and they’d see if they could make up the day to him later. He connected with the travel department, telling them he already had plane tickets for the red-eye, and banking a voucher for travel later. Movie forgotten, he and Colby stayed up late talking about what it could mean. It could be as simple as wanting the talent so they could make it look like they did at the draft. But. Maybe. Maybe fortune was favoring them. Maybe they’d done all the right things and the wheel of karma had come back around. Maybe they’d get to be together. Monday was a blur. They landed at 6am, checked into a hotel, hit the gym, and napped before grabbing lunch and going to the arena. As soon as they got there, Jon was pulled into a locker room, and kept separate from the rest of the roster. Jon hated that, but it also was a good sign. Within 15 minutes, Lexi was shoved in with him, and a few minutes after that Mike and Maryse. Jon grinned hard. If they were all being sequestered in a separate locker room from the rest of the roster, it meant trade. He was moving to Raw. Now all he had to do was hope Colby was also staying. It wasn’t long before Carrano and Adam Pearce came in with the rest of the traded superstars. It was official. They were here. They went over the outline of the show, telling them where their announcements and segments would be. Jon and Mike were opening the show, a big vote of confidence in them. They were taken to an office to write their promos with Adam. Jon noticed a couple of segments that had Colby pencilled in, but he couldn’t tell what the decision was. As fate would have it, he didn’t get an opportunity to even text Colby about what was happening before the show started. Due to the potential for leaks, phones were not allowed out when in the production areas. The official, posted lineup just said “Opening Segment” and none of the traded superstars’ names were anywhere on it. Either this was truly some last minute stuff or they were really worried about leaks. It was minutes to curtain, and Jon just threw on a tank top and his leather jacket, not bothering to put on knee pads, tape his wrists or change into better jeans. He managed a quick text out to Colby in the few seconds he had. “Raw, babe. Watch the monitor.”

Some feelings strike so suddenly, unexpectedly, they startle and shake you up. You are never the same again. Simultaneously scared and exhilarated.
You feel like the thrill might kill you… And you’d go willingly
