Good job Alfie!! #Repost @kitbevan ・・・ Something I think is super fun about fostering (or adopting!) dogs in their golden years is gaining a little bit of insight into their former lives when they casually start showing off their bag of tricks. I had no idea that Alfie knew how to sit on command until a Pet Valu employee asked him to. Later, when I asked Leeza to sit and lie down, Alfie did too. He saved "shake" for a later day, but I was impressed nonetheless. Now that he knows his (new) name, he has pretty good recall as well. I certainly didn't teach him any of that, but someone did!
