I think this is the most intimate moment in tgcf between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. The peak where they won the battle against the most strongest marital god, the first Ghost king, Jun Wu and post war clarity hit where Hua Cheng was drained of all the spiritual power.
That was the point where they barred their secrets to eachother, rooted for eachother face to face for the first time and accepted eachother officially.
Hua cheng, crimson rain sought flower, has always been weak infront of xie lian and crossed every limit time and again to protect his God and to see his God yearn for him for the first time made him even more weak.
I just don't have enough words to express the impact this scene had on me
