If anyone is still interested in a fic I first started writing seven! years ago and haven't updated since last year No Matter How the Wind Howls, I just posted chapter 22 on AO3.

Animatic idea: “Eyes of Red and Blue”

It’s a compilation of moments Shallan and Kaladin shared before Kal decided to move on. The stealing the boots, her watching him defend Adolin in his duel against Saedeus, Them hiding from the chasm fiend, Vale flirting with Kal, etc.

Red for Shallans hair, Blue for Kal’s uniform

I won't tell you how far ahead I'm writing in the Mulan AU, but I just wrote a Shalladin kiss today.

Stuff is getting real!

Just a few chapters until I'm done with this story! Latest chapter (which sadly does not contain a kiss. It does, however, feature Shallan freaking out about being vulnerable, so there is that.) posted yesterday. Read it here.

Caught in the Spiritual Realm’s tides of possibility, Shallan once again has to face her past and come to terms with a Truth she’s been hiding from. But this time it’s not about her family, it’s about Kaladin and how she really feels about him…

Canon compliant up to Chapter 118 of Wind and Truth. Beware for a few major spoilers for Wind and Truth/Stormlight Book 5, in particular around Shallan’s history and plotline. Has mentions of Adolin and Sh@dolin to keep in line with canon at that point, but this is primarily a Shalladin story.
