So, okay this is what I am interpreting. Steven is in his bathroom, (or is he in Rose's Room cause its like he attempts to poof away the mirror with the corrupted Pink Steven reflection). Ah, actually is there a way you could explain it to me. What's the story? :o Looks great btw, very interesting!

Oooo!!! I like the Rose’s Room interpretation! I was going for a bathroom scene! But it can be open for interpretation! It’s more similar to a hallucination. Okay, I’m not good at explaining things but I will try my best! So basically he’s attempting to give himself a positive pep talk, but instead, his inner thoughts (mirror corrupted Steven) takes over and triggers the corruption. (Mirror Corrupted Steven) locks the door before Steven is able to escape. All the while Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst hear the struggle and try to come through the door. At the end, they are finally able to bust in after (mirror Steven) is gone and the corruption process is complete. So by the time they get in Steven is corrupted. In the Second Part (which I posted before this one) is what happens afetrwards (he transforms into WORM BOI™ ) and the Crystal gems react to his corruption. As we go through the next 2 or 3 parts, we will see his inner thoughts and more reactions! I hope this cleared it up a bit! Thank you so much!

Oh hold up, was Steven having a nightmare about the Diamonds?? Is all your art connected in that way or are they seperate?

Yup, it was all one big, horrifying nightmare!

There will be one more picture going up tomorrow. Just to finish it off in a more satisfying way

Well, whats wrong with that? You see a piece of art and it inspires you to draw, whys this any different?

i'm taking into consideration what's been happening around the youtube/twitter ARG community for several years. after Marble Hornets, there have been a lot of people trying to emulate it by using their same editing tactics and putting secret codes in their videos, but not backing up WHY that's happening with any plot points or in-universe explainations. they're basically just exploiting the same gimicks but giving it no extra depth or exploration. the same thing is happening with sexygirlmax2019 copycats where they basically just lead you on a trail of codes to no destination. i'm not saying taking inspiration from things is bad. it's what you do with that inspiration that matters. being inspired is only half the battle.
