Spent my weekend in Ft. Worth. We went to the French Art Festival at the Kimbell. It was a blast. I saw such inspiring paintings. We heard a great band called Gollay, which was absolutely fantastic and I may become obsessed. There were Mimes, artists painting, stilt walkers.... It was so refreshing
It's James Purefoy day! Love this man.Ill never forget him wishing me luck on my big fashion show in LA
The Glittering, Part One. The crown was made by Shalottlilly. Glitter and photo by Ginger Foto. Some of this set was used for Eclat Magazine's December 2014 issue.
getting it figured
this morning, my good friend Cami helped me get this mad Tumbler thing figured out and opened. I'm not terribly good at some of this technology stuff. I also rented Henry V on the Hollow Crown series. Tom Hiddleston is beyond perfect in this.....and the costuming. always the costuming. I'm looking at floral/ linen hat that is so elegant. this was always my favorite Shakespeare play.I'm dying to get to the one with James Purefoy. I adore James Purefoy
So excited to have my pieces on the beautiful Audrey Kitching. Amanda Valentine of Redrum Collaboration is so phenomenal. I'm lucky to have people like her in my life.
Shalottlilly
So I'm going to try this again. I'm super pregnant and unable to really work on pieces as of late. Luckily, to this point I have made so many pieces for shoots that people can just stop by and grab them up for projects. Which makes me happy. In the past few weeks, I've had my pieces used in shoots with Louise Black from Project Runway and Audrey Kitching thanks to my lovely Amanda Valentine. It keeps me feeling relevant. I guess I sort of worry about my work fading in to obscurity. I'm excited for little Jack Quartermain to get here though. I'm going to do a maternity shoot Tuesday with Candice Ghai. Also, since being on bed rest... I've been watching so much Netflix. Marco Polo was really amazing...... And so were the head pieces.
