If i Have Shambling Vent on the field, may i cast an spell with awaken on it. for example i cast sheer drop for it's awaken cost am i allowed to cast it to Shambling vent? Shambling event can become a 2/3 elemental creature for a colorless, a black , and a white. and if i pay the cost to do that does Shambling vent become a 5/6 elemental creature with lifelink and haste?
Yes to all of this.
You can target a land that’s already a creature with the awaken effect, and if you later activate Shambling Vent’s animation ability, it becomes a 5/6 creature with lifelink and haste until end of turn, at which point it reverts to being 3/3.
It breathes heavily as it moves, lurching forward toward a unified goal with the rest of the plane: Protect Zendikar from the Eldrazi.
Shambling Vent, requested by @thatdeadsojourner.
Writing flavor text for Magic cards that don’t have them.
Follow for daily updates and/or drop a card request in my ask for me to write flavor text for.
If the land shambling vent is turned into a 2/3 white black elemental if its killed dose it go to the grave yard?
Yes. When a creature dies it goes to the graveyard, even if it’s only temporarily a creature.
Enlighten me, readers. Why would someone think it wouldn’t?
If you Awaken 3 a shambling vent, then activate its ability, will it stop being a creature once your turn is over?
No, it goes back to being an awakened land, so just a 0/0 with three +1/+1 counters on it.
