I really did like Xiaohongshu, really really did honestly, but it made me sad since I had to leave the platform after only using it for a few days since my account kept getting shadowbanned randomly with no warning - most likely due to Japanese users having a more difficult time and getting bullied off the platform (　³ω³ ).｡O Not only that but I had a simple banner on my (EMPTY!!) account that had 1 reference to Deku, and my account was nuked the day after... They do not like MHA fans either (uhh.... Simplification. They would say you supported genocide if you liked MHA >.>), so I could tell I was really not welcome (·︿· `)

#sorry i need to vent #I'm devastated #the only way i could actually go on the app was if i kept my account completely blank or vaguely anime themed #could not reference any Japanese relations or any positivity towards MHA #or else they'd call you a war criminal #(ahh.... i made an entire long post explaining it awhile ago)#i really liked that app #i find it hard to relate to a lot of apps #i felt like it was more suited for me and my tastes #there's almost no Asian people here on Tumblr :⁠'⁠( it's lonely at times #shame!#maybe I'll check back on it again out of curiosity #it's been a year after all #💬#💢#they welcomed Americans very very happily but did not want Japanese on there #makes sense but I'm still sad

They should make more stories where a character gets magically genderswapped and has the time of their life and realizes they're trans. and then they get to keep their new body and live so much more happily

#ive seen it before so i know its a trope. but its not really a common one from what i can tell #shame!#mayne i looked up too many gender swap transformation comics on youtube as a kid. but im a big fan of this premise #getting a new body and realizing how much you enjoy it and being so much more comfortable and happy in your skin #also the magical girl sub genre of this is fun
