You were so irritated when Karen came back from... well, wherever the hell she had gone, and that she seemed to be way too interested in getting her claws into Lip again. It pissed you off, actually. It made you wanna commit random acts of destruction— oh god, were you turning into a Milkovich?

"You can't just waltz back into the south side and act like you can still control him," You hissed to her while Lip was in the bathroom.

"Control him? Um, news flash, he's in charge of himself," Karen snapped back to you.

You let out a spiteful laugh. "Oh please, give me a break! You know he used to be wrapped around your finger before you left."

As you said that, Lip came out of the bathroom, frowning. "Are you two fuckin' serious?"

"Your little girlfriend is jealous, I think," Karen smirked, crossing her arms as she looked at Lip.

"I'm not fucking jealous!" You huffed.

"You're acting a little jealous, babe," Lip murmured to you quietly, then glanced over his shoulder at Karen. "But I understand why you'd think you have a reason to be."

You frowned a little, watching Lip look at Karen, internally screaming.

"It's nice to see you, Karen. But we can't be friends anymore, alright?" He muttered to her.

You almost let out a crazy huge sigh of relief, but held back. At least he finally stood up to her.

It was clear now though, Lip was yours, nobody else's.

You checked your watch, sighing as you waited for Lip. He promised he’d be here.

You got up, grabbing your bag and getting ready to walk out, Lip running in frantically.

“Y/N! Wait, I’m sorry! I was helping Karen!”

You stared at him, eyes wide open in disbelief. Lip closed his mouth, jaw locking as he realised what he had said.

“You know what? Congratulations. Have a nice life Lip, with your fuck buddy who’s married and baby that probably isn’t even fucking yours. We’re done.”

You stormed out of the restaurant, ignoring Lip running down the street, trying to convince you to stay.

“Y/N just fucking listen to me!”

Tears started falling as you turned around, looking into Lip’s beautiful blue eyes. The eyes you fell in love with, the eyes that comforted you.

“I gave you a chance Lip. I waited for you for so fucking long, hoping maybe you’d come to your senses and realise that Karen didn’t love you. She never loved you Lip! You were just someone she fucked, just like everyone else.”

Lip stayed quiet, staring at you.

“That’s it? You’re just, leaving? Not even gonna give me a second chance?”

You shook your head, Lip running his hand through his hair out of frustration.

You gulped, looking at him one last time, scanning his face for any sign of remorse.
