GUYS. cant deal. my post workout snack = total deliciousness. and its so simple! apple, banana, peanut butter, and any nuts you love! I used almonds, walnuts, cashews, sunflower seeds and coconut shreds <3 but seriously the banana ones are so good I felt super guilty for eating them, then realized its absolutely healthy! sooo yummmmyyy

A welcome change

Things I successfully did today: - Tried Ippudo (sooo good) - Attended marketing class - Finished half of my journalism law paper - Watched The Mindy Project, Modern Family - Interviewed one person for my foreign reporting article - Rescheduled phone interview - Went grocery shopping (... hungry, so obviously half of Trader Joe's now has a new home in my kitchen) - Did laundry Get on my level.  (I probably won't stay here for long.)

Daybreak.

The walls are bathed in the morning light streaming through the translucent drapes. Crisp spring air enters from the patio where she stands alone, arms resting over the balustrades. With coffee in hand, a sip engulfs her palette in a sharp caramel aftertaste. A smirk finds its way to a corner of her mouth when the aromatic scent of roasted coffee beans circles around the tip of her nose; she becomes unexplainably amused recalling the ease of her transition from a tea drinker to coffee addict.

Coffee was all he drank during their midnight dates. A cube of sugar, no cream.

Jaeseop would also have ordered a giant blueberry muffin to share, although sweet treats are not his favourite.  The burnt nutty almond top, the subtle fruitiness, the sticky honeyed glaze; she forces her nose to whiff out these scents from her memories.

Jaeseop had not been able to appreciate the tapestry of aromas that dance around the air because of his sensitive nose, but she remembers him clearer when she sniffs out certain smells.

The fragrance of buttered popcorn and warm brownies, the sweet bloom of fresh lilies and freshly mowed grass, the spicy peppermint, the earthy muskiness of falling rain – Jaeseop may sneeze and crinkles his nose at a whiff of these, but as she buries her nose into the fabric of his t-shirt, there are traces of these memories clinging onto the cotton fibers  as if reminding her that he is here, that he never truly left.

“Wearing my clothes again, I see.”

A tight embrace from behind encircles her by the waist. The familiar mix of aftershave, mint and baby powder invades her senses.

“Don’t move,” Jaeseop whispers. “Let me have my fill of holding you like this.”
