Summary: Arthur is beyond upset. His sister Morgana has disappeared, and worse, he can find no trail of her on the Network and Uther denies the existence of his own daughter. For help, he turns to Merlin, a techmage with an uncanny ability to link to the Net, who discovers that there’s more to Morgana and himself than he meant to know.

Comments: Be prepared to be a little confused, but that’s the fun of dealing with a story filled with computer programs that can implant memories, create VRs, ARs, or even draw out time. Everything single character gets wrapped up into this - did Merlin and Arthur actually met as children or is that a fake memory? Have they been on the run for 5 days, 5 months, or a year? What’s true, what’s not, and just how much does everyone know? This is a delightful adventure that makes me happy cuz it doesn’t end all super happy. Angst lover that I am.

I think characters should be as canon as possible too???? I mean the challenge is to find out more about their characters, and not invent it?

in AUs I can understand some alternate character portrayal, since they’re in a completely different environment and will act somewhat differently, within reason, but otherwise... yeah. I always thought the goal was to be as accurate as possible when writing characters, but... once again, tumblr does the exact opposite. :|
