Akirlia’s tail swished back and forth in mischief, slowly approaching Shanarra from behind, her hooves not making a single sound on the grassy floor. They were in Ashenvale, exploring the land, looking for a change of scenery for a bit, and as soon as the Night Elf had her back turned, the Draenei had a mischievous smile, her fingers wiggling excitedly.

Suddenly, she pounced, launching herself at Shanarra, her fingers tickling her side, a musical laugh escaping her lips. “Can’t turn your back on my once, Shan!” she exclaimed. “Because you never know what’s going to happen!”

Shanarra

"Shanarra is a kind hearted, talented young Druid with her whole life ahead of her. I do not understand why she would throw her life away for the sake of Illidan. 

I just wish for what is best for her but.. I cannot watch her destroy herself. He will hurt her as he has hurt everything he has ever touched.

But still, it is not my place. I am not her father, but I am her teacher and I hope she remembers that when she has no where to turn to because of her so called lover."

Caerleon

"I am proud to have counted Caerleon among my students, he is a good man and I counted him as one of my closest friends. 

When I heard he had fallen it felt like I had lost a part of myself. He shared the burden I had placed upon myself without a word or protest or complaint, he didn't even offer, he just laid his life down at my feet. 

But to hear here is well, well as well as you can be being raised as a Death Knight, it fills me with a joy that I thought I had forgotten.

I am truly pleased that my friend has returned, and I look forward to hearing what he has been up too.

..I wonder if he knows about Shanarra and Illidan...

Shanarra: While I never expected her to bump into me what seemed like ages ago, Shanarra has always been a good friend to me, and there whenever I needed her and vice versa. I couldn’t imagine a better friend to come to me, purely through accident. I couldn’t imagine my life without her, now that I’ve met her, and given the opportunity to change my past, I wouldn’t, if it meant she didn’t get to come into my life again.

Caerleon: I feel like I haven’t spoken with Caerleon as often as I should, being Shanarra’s father, but I enjoy his presence in the courts all the same. He’s very kind, if not a bit quiet, but when I am able to speak with him, I find a smile plastered to my face and in a fit of giggles. Perhaps I’ll get to know him more in the coming days, at least I’m hoping for it.

"Caerleon is a good friend, and a great teacher, without his guidance I doubt I would’ve grasped the control of ice so quickly. He is kind and patient and I know I can always count on him if I need someone to have my back."

”.. I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Caerleon is kind and sweet and wonderful and.. I’m not quite sure what he sees in me, perhaps a reflection of his own loneliness since we seemed to gravitate towards each other without realizing.

It’s hard being on my own, I never really thought it would bother me that much, but lately I’ve been feeling so.. so empty and Caerleon will take me into his arms, or into his bed, and for that short amount of time I’m with him, I feel.. I feel alive.

“How about that dance then?” - Caerleon

Ren glanced up from her seat, a small blush spreading across her nose. Caerleon had joked about coming to find her for a dance when he got a free moment. Or at least she thought he was joking. It appears he wasn't.

She stood, her hand coming out to grasp around his outstretched one and he pulled her close, arms wrapping around her waist as the music slowed to a gentle rhythm.

Ren smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck and soon her head was resting against his chest, listening to the gentle sound of his slow heartbeat as they swayed to the music.
