上都 XANADU ザナドゥ

内モンゴルに僅かな痕跡が残るモンゴル大帝国の都、上都（ザナドゥ, XANADU）の痕跡を最新テクノロジーで辿るもの。

マルコ・ポーロの手記には、ザナドゥには巨大な国際都市が存在し、黄金の宮殿や大理石の建造物が立ち並んでいた、と。750年前だからそんなに前の話ではないのに、それほどの栄華の跡が殆ど残っていないのか…。現地にはっきりと残っているのは、人工的な盛り土、つまり城壁の跡があるのみで、厳しい自然環境のなか建造物の類は風化が進みほとんど残っていない。想像だけど、きっと建材のほとんどは盗まれてしまったんだろう。

フビライ・ハンが築造したザナドゥには、漢民族のための寺や、漢民族によると思われる建造物や出土品が見られ、この点から、他民族文化を受け入れる寛容さを持っていたという。当時のモンゴル帝国の影響範囲は今のロシア、トルコ、ウクライナあたりまで及んでおり、世界の4分の1の人口を納めていた巨大帝国である。漢民族文化だけでなく、中央アジアやヨーロッパ文化を背景に持つ人々も治めるには、異文化を受け入れる寛容さが大切だったのだろう。

元王朝の統一を最後まで阻んでいたのが南宋。それを征服するためフビライはザナドゥの南に「大都」を建城。大都はまさに現代北京の地下に埋まっているが、北京のあちこちに大都の痕跡を見ることができるという。留学時代に歩いたあの城壁跡公園、また、北三環と並行して東西に走る不自然に盛り上がった並木、それらが元朝の大都市、「大都」の痕跡だったと知って驚き。北京のほうが何倍も大きく造られているそうだが、ザナドゥの造りにとてもよく似ていて、北京はザナドゥから派生した都市と言える。

Starting from acting in 'Somewhere Only We Know,' Wu Yifan has developed an extreme interest in acting. In order to study acting, in the last half a year, he hired a private teacher to give himself some one on one training and brush up his acting. While filming ‘Fading Wave’, he took the opportunity to secretly learn from Feng Xiaogang, Liang Jing, Zhang Hanyu, Xu Jing, and other seniors. When he portrayed the ‘New Lao Pao Er’ Er Huan Shi San Lang, opposite of Feng Xiaogang’s ‘Lao Pao er’, Director Feng sincerely gave pointers benefitting Wu Yifan.
