Ending the month with another dtiy- the winter ballerina- this like my previous post was originally by @shannanigansart to celebrate #shannanigans28k !!! Again, I had a lot of fun with the character. I just think the duo is adorable and wanted them to grace my feed. hahaha . I also like that they follow my color scheme and made it easy for me to color pick from the original. . I finally got to do my own version of one of my fave #dtiys currently active. I've been wanting to participate in @shannanigansart dtiys for a while now. I plan to do both but here's one of them! I just love the emotion of the original and that's what really captured me to make my own. I don't do crying lol so I gave her a solemn face instead. I hope I did some justice to this piece despite changing the expression. Finally! This was so interesting to draw. So first things first I did a rehearsal for ballerina poses. I thought there would be about three good ones, but I was wrong. THERE WERE TONS OF GOOD REFERENCES. Now I’m thinking about doing another one ballerina, what do you think? . Fun story: the reason I decided to draw this dtiys was the tattoo on her thigh.
