Hello everybody! Today I’m gonna talk a bit about the Mount Hyjal raid, Firelands. Now, this one is not super easy. I solo’d this on 25-player Normal mode with my level 100 druid night elf and I died twice. NPCs were mostly level 85-88. None of the bosses were a total walk in the park, but some were kinda hard.

Time: Total time from beginning to end was 35-40 minutes.

Gold: After selling the soulbound items that I didn’t want/need, I ended up with a profit of around 844 gold. Of course, I died a few times and was getting hit pretty hard, so I did spend some gold to repair my items.

Loot: Not a lot of crafting reagents to be looted here. I got 9 Living Embers. I also got 8 epic (purple) quality items and 11 uncommon (green) items that I will either sell on the Auction House or disenchant.

Tips: The hardest boss for me was Shannox and his jerk dogs Rageface and Riplimb. Rageface will stun you if you don’t kill him fast enough, and you will not get out of the stun before they kill you. That’s how I died. What worked for me was focusing everything I had on killing Rageface first. Then Riplimb. And Shannox last. Make sure you have some tricks up your sleeve like a really strong healing potion, or a Shieldtronic Shield (will absorb up to 68,000 damage and last 15 seconds).

This was kind of hard (for me anyway) and it’s not a raid that I will run all the time unless I really want to try for the mounts Flametalon of Alysrazor and Smoldering Egg of Millagazor (but the drop rate is really low on these).
