SO IT CONTINUES !!! 

I sort of wanted to this continuation to fast forward into their future together but this series likes to really dive into how someone ( jiri ) overcomes a difficult situation. 

I’m loving that Yuri is recognizing what we all have been for a while now - HE LOVES JIRI ! 🖤

Im really curious about how their relationship will continue in the future considering that 

- jiri doesn't have a job

- they are living together 

-yuri told his friends about jiri 

-jiri is still in contact with his old/still? crush 

- Yuri will perhaps have to go the military next year :/

we didn’t physically see jiri this episode but felt his presence through yuri - even after all this he is still thinking of him. he misses him truly. i want them to hold each other so bad

i think this marks his GENUINE letting go of heejo and reinventing their relationship as strictly siblings ( in his eyes anyways) i think it’s also interesting to note that he didn’t let her touch his check right away < the one that jiri touched > he is definitely now focusing solely on jiri

this was a big episode for yuri’s home life and development !!! 🖤

* he and his sister talk about how they feel in the family ( sees her in a new light when he realizes she’s struggling having such violent parents as well)

* yuri let’s her know he was hurt by her treatment and she recognizes why he had to go to heejo for comfort since the rest of them were awful

* they are so similar it’s cute ! genetics are incredible <: i also think it’s funny how he calls her / sees her as ‘crazy’ when it’s stuff he definitely would have done himself

* the difference in types of relationships between his sisters is really funny since with heejo he is super nice and with the other he is really playful

it’s sad how though yuri’s father has only just been in the story and yet we see such violence from him. it really puts into perspective the type of childhood he has had. it explains so much of yuri’s insecurities and puzzlement when someone is kind. ( as a child development major, it’s so hard reading this story and seeing how realistic it is in the way children develop as a result of abuse and neglect)

The reason why shape of sympathy is one of my favorite stories is because of how realistic it’s is- to the point that I become uncomfortable in its genuineness. It’s a story that doesn’t rely on fantastical plots because the author imitates real life extremely well. From the bottom of my heart I want these characters to be happy.

wow it’s a progression of their hands. i love how throughout this series they’ve reflected the story. i think interlocking fingers is a finally
