Martín Feijoó, also known as Tincho, is a 33 year old Argentinian artist residing in Spain. Encouraged by his family, Martín picked up art at an early age:
“Inspiration can come from everything, everywhere. For me, the most important thing is to be always ready to be inspired by everything. The other important thing is to take the idea you come up with and turn it into something real: we all have lots of ideas everyday but we’re so busy with our routine that we let them go and that’s a huge mistake.”
Martín is most well known for his Shaping Clouds project. Shaping Clouds is a series of illustrations inspired by the abstract cloud formations that Martín has always been captivated by:
“When I was a child I was told that clouds’ shapes were created by expert balloon twister clowns who live in the sky, so that they can keep entertaining children. On my last trip to Mexico I remembered this and I started to photograph clouds on the road. The result is Shaping Clouds, a series of illustrations where I drew the first thing that came into my mind when I saw these clouds that I imagine someone made for me.”
