A silly lil sequence of an idea we've been rolling with @theshiftingworkshop honestly since she was here over 2 years ago. Basically in our little headworld Shaping Up SD is a knight who partakes in shows where knights put on (fake) battles with coreography, drama, and of course flowers to toss into the audience.
(While technically tossing giant flowers into the human sized audiences is ill-adviced, SD won't let that stop himself from being a bit flirty to the human he invited to the VIP balcony as a thanks for helping him research shapeshifters)
This is a scene that I imagine would be a major turning point in Shaping Up, working in the same place, they're bound to run into each other, and for a while, things are totally fine!
That is at least, until the keen eyed SD starts to get suspicious of the giant and human barkeep that everyone seems to think are uncanny in their similarities...
That's actually what prompts him to start to frequent Terri's library, where he's surprised that they seem to always have just the books he's looking for on hand, almost as if they too, are researching the elusive shapeshifter...
But anygay, back to the doodles, this is when he finally corners Shop after accidentally catching her shifting to grab something, as he is a knight, he still is of the mindset of protecting the city, and shapeshifters, as rare as they are, still pose a very real threat in his mind, but something tells me that this one will change his mind...

Y/N and Awesome Versus Morgan
Imagine helping Awesome to shape up Morgan.
You still weren’t sure how you got roped into this. While you looked at Morgan’s reflection in the mirror, you could see the annoyed frown still on your face. The man was still in his green sales shirt, but now it was tucked in. According to Devon, that was a big step. What’s he going to do next? You wondered sarcastically. Buy shoes that can be polished?
“I don’t know,” Morgan hedged skeptically, continually fixing his pants because he didn’t like how they looked with the waistband visible. “I don’t think I’m ready for this.”
“Nonsense,” Awesome scolded gently, clapping his hand on Morgan’s shoulder. “You look great, man. Y/N! Why don’t you give our pal a once-over here and make a suggestion or two? You’re a woman.”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “What, and because I’m a woman, I know what all women generally like?” While you let him wince at that as he realized how it sounded, you sighed and reluctantly studied Morgan, who kept fidgeting. “Brush your hair,” you said at last. “It looks like you patted it down and said okay, good enough.”
“That’s because that’s what I did,” Morgan said, looking at his hair again in the mirror. “I mean, I didn’t say good enough, I said-“
“It doesn’t matter,” you interrupted, exasperated. “If you want to look mature and adult or whatever, you can’t just roll out of bed and say you’re ready to go. You need to put a little more effort into your appearance. I don’t mean you should start spending hours obsessing over how you look, but you have to groom yourself and be clean.”
Devon perked up. “I’ve got a comb in the bathroom. I’ll get it, you can give it a spin, and we can see how it looks.” Without waiting on an answer from Morgan, Awesome left the room to go towards his and Ellie’s in-suite.
Once he had left, you tapped Morgan’s arm. “Listen,” you said, and he looked at you and for once seemed to be taking things seriously. “I get that you don’t want people to think of you as an errant kid, but how you behave is a lot more important than how you dress. You work at a store, you’re not a CEO, you don’t need to fixate on tucking your shirts in. You want to be treated like you’re responsible? You need to start taking responsibility.”
“How can someone like me do that?” Morgan asked, sighing and pulling his shirt out of his waistband. His posture relaxed more comfortably. “I don’t know how to do anything, I’m not smart like Chuck or handsome like Awesome-“
“And I’m not badass like Sarah or as confident as Anna,” you interrupted softly. “That’s okay. It’s not a test of who you can act like, it’s a test of proving you’re reliable. Try to learn to talk to people, and up your sales. Make better impressions on customers and stop slacking off so much.”
Morgan worried the hem of his shirt. “What if I can’t do it?”
You rolled your eyes. People already gave Morgan the easiest tasks. If he really wanted to succeed, you knew he could do it. He had a sharp eye for detail and when he really wanted something, he could be as stubborn as an ox. If he wasn’t that determined to succeed at the Buy More, he must not be that invested in it.
“If you can’t pull your weight there, then I hear McDonald’s is hiring.” You slapped his back and left before Awesome returned.
