My children will not have separate bedrooms.

Future tense here but I'm sticking to my guns. Unless I end up having a boy(s) and a girl(s), they will all be sharing a room until they have enough money to move out.

Heck, I shared a bedroom with my brother and sister (shared a bed too) until I was 20 years old. 20! I had to move out and get a job to have my own bedroom and I still don't have my own bedroom. But that's only because I share it with a super hot roommate whom I also bump uglies with so that's a two-for-one deal I can't pass up just to masturbate in peace. 

I always say that I wouldn't have moved out if I had my own bedroom and if that's not enough reason for me to consider shoving all my kids into one room then I don't know what is. There is no better motivation to get your life together and move the fuck out than sharing a room with your siblings.

I can't count the times I wanted to kill my brother and sister when I would be cleaning our room and they would be in my way not lifting a god forsaken finger. It was fucking infuriating. 

Now all I have is my mess to deal with. Which I prefer. 

They will hate it (or love it, I don't know) and they'll have no choice in the matter. They'll duke it out whenever they have arguments and clean up their room all together and figure out a system and they'll have dozens of stories to tell when they're older.

Then again, I just finished reading We Need To Talk About Kevin so I may forgo the whole kids thing. We'll see.
