Stay calm & avoid obstacles.🧘🏻♀️🏂🚧 Sunday, I almost landed on a woman putting on her skis in the landing of a kicker. She was with two male skiers waiting below. - ⚠️We all fall on jumps. When I fall, I do the following for my safety and the safety of others. 🏃🏻♀️I move to the side, out of the landing ASAP. ❌ I ask someone to go stand next to the take off, and place their arms in an “X” above their head so people know the jump is closed, while quickly moving out of the way. ⭕️ Arms in an “O” above the head signifies the jump is open. 🎿I fix my gear AFTER I am in a safe spot away from the landing and features. 🤕 If I am too injured and can’t move, I have someone block the take off ramp with their board or skis and get help. 👉I am not trying to point fingers. I just want people to share the mountain safely. 📝Feel free to add other safety tips that are helpful, not hurtful. 🙏Thankfully, we were both unharmed. . . . . #sharethemountain #mountainsafety #terrainparksafety #parksmarts #thankful #closecall #snowboardsafety #staycalm #community #hopethishelpsoneperson #staycalmandmoveon #thankyouuniverse #snowboarding (at Sierra-at-Tahoe) https://www.instagram.com/p/BsqhLpJlKz7/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=mnfqg8oylgh1
