This year, England won its first men's Cricket World Cup, after tying with New Zealand in a match that went into the cricket equivalent of extra time. One of the players, Jos Buttler said he "felt England always had a chance" if he and fellow player Ben Stokes were on the team together. Huskies work really well together, in harmony with each and with their human team member -and they all have fun doing it! In a dog sled race, the dogs egg each other on, they keep the pace going as a unit and they reap the rewards of working together by going faster. Teams are a great thing. When individuals work together, their combined efforts and strength gets much more done, faster. Team members encourage each other, spur each other on, keep each other sharp. Friend, if you're feeling alone, feeling like you're losing the game, you're not alone, because you're part of a team. Your team is sharing your load, alongside you, helping you win. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are on your team. They're there to help you win. If God is for you, you'll have victory. “We're more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37), we're victors “through He who loves us”. And God will choose people to be on your team -sometimes for a season, sometimes for the whole game. No matter what, you're not alone, because you've got people who want you to win and will help you get that victory. And absolutely nothing can separate you from your Heavenly team, they're with you for life. They love you, they will bring out the best in you, if you let them and they will help you to help others in your team in turn. “Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. No matter how low we feel, Jesus can forgive us restore us, and even use us for His glory. What was once the place where we were most ashamed can now become the place where God performs His greatest miracles in our lives.” ―Tauren Wells
