The 2016 Shark Summit will bring together policymakers, scientists, advocates, youth of Dumaguete City, and stakeholders from various industries to create an integral movement in developing and laying down the Philippines’ shark and ray conservation frameworks. There will be workshops on research, policy, and campaigns; an exclusive screening of On The Brink: Uncharted Waters - Documentary; and talks about ongoing shark and ray conservation initiatives around the country.
The Summit participants have been pre-selected, but limited slots are available to the public for a modest fee of P750/day, which includes snacks, lunch, and registration.
