Sup

So I was supposed to work for like all of Hero Squad and a few hours before it, but then stuff went down with my fam so I didn't get to. I did work for about an hour and a half today though!

I did Rager's earing and dagger, but I'm stuck on his hair. It's def going to be a challenge. I'll try to do more at some point next week. I'll also be making it habit to work for at least a couple hours on Friday.

Was going to work for like all night yesterday but family stuff came up, sorry.

I did work on Rager today though. He's got part of an earring and a dagger so that's good. I'm going to start trying to make it a habit to work on this for a couple hours every Friday.

Atlas is done modeling!

I finished modeling Atlas, I'm going to do Britney now for a bit I think.

I'm really hoping I can make the rig and just import it lol. It'll save me a ton of time. Same with the shape keys (Controls the face).

Also I'm not excited to do Britney's clothes since I'll have to do them by hand and the cloak is fabric-y. So I'm doing hair lol.

Some updates on Britney. She’s about halfway done. I want to resize her earing, but that’s for later. I’ve also added some basic color to help me find any problematic spots in the mesh.

Really the hardest parts are going to be her braid, which I’m going to have to resize by hand unless I find a trick, and her cloak which will be me just point pulling until it looks like fabric. I also need to decide how I’m going to get those sparkles on her dress. Other than that, her mesh is pretty much done.

I didn’t work on Rager today bc I started a little late (I was writing my story) but he looks okay. He’s still super rough but I quite like his face shape. We’ll see how it goes I suppose. and I am still recording what I’m doing so I can edit it down into a time-lapse so you guys can see all the work it takes for these.

That timelapse probably won’t have the creation of the rig in it, but I might record it and post it separately. I’m making the rig with Jazzy and then hopefully I can just copy it. So, that means you might still get to see the weighting process and how the rig looks. You’ll also probably get to see the shape keys.

If you don’t know any of these terms btw, just comment or reblog this and ask, and I’ll explain. Nobody is really looking at this regularly (one person lol hi) so it’s mostly just for me to track my progress. But I'm happy to answer questions.

Update

I worked on Britney yesterday but didn't know how to do the back of her hair, so not much got done. I have tweeted Aenne though, so hopefully she gets back to me.

Also I think I wasn't tagging her in earlier tweets like a dummy. Idk.

I also started doing some more work on Rager. In comparison, he's still p rough. It's going to take quite a bit of point pulling but that's okay.

I was going to start on his hair but it won't let me rotate it or anything, so it'll have to wait. I think I might start working on a rig for Christina and Atlas, but we'll see. Rager's hair not working kind of annoyed me so I'm at least going to take a break.

Oh! And I think I know how to do the intro! Hopefully it'll look good.

How's it going?

Hey all! I haven't updated in a while, eh? So I'll admit, I've had a pretty meh month. I didn't get much work done on this and I'm behind on the dnd story in general.

I did do some more work on Rager though and I'm thinking I might put up the video in two parts since y'all have been waiting so long. Thoughts?

Not much to show otherwise and you probably won't get pictures until I do coloring on the models bc that's when I think they look the coolest but we'll see.

That's all for now, hopefully I'll get more done from here on out.

Mini Update

Hi! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been sick. I should be getting back into working on this soon, but no promises.

On the bright side for me personally, I'm getting back to where I want to be in school which will hopefully free up my mind and time to do more work.

I'm also making progress on my game and considering making a blog for that, but that might ruin the surprise. We'll just have to see.

Next time I do work on this though it should either be on Rager so I can get that time lapse out sooner or on the first rig so I can see if reusing it will actually be an option.

I'll update you as soon as I have something. Till then stay chill.
