“My first major photography job was as Man City's club photographer,” she says. “That’s where I met Noel. Originally Noel and Liam used to come to the games, until things went wrong. And then Liam would be on one side of the stadium and Noel would be on the other. I always used to bump into him.”

Sharon [Latham] secured the job of Senior Club Photographer for Manchester City FC in 2010. Her ten year tenure was during one of the most successful periods in the club’s history. She documented a succession of iconic moments including trophies in the English Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup. Sharon previously photographed Oasis at Knebworth, Maine Road and the Etihad Stadium, but it was at Manchester City where she re-connected with Noel Gallagher. Sharon recalls that “The first interview Pep Guardiola (Man City club manager) ever did was with Noel, and that was my last shoot before I left the club”.

I was also at Royal Albert Hall on thursday. As usual, photogrpahers came in when the gig started and left after 3 songs. But Jill came in after that and stayed quite a long time, apparently she had a special permit or sth. I'm looking forward to see her works🥹

Most gig photographers are press but I believe Jill is Noel’s own personal photographer, part of his entourage, like she always was.

I do wonder what Sharon is up to these days. Did Noel bring Jill back because Sharon doesn't have the time? Does she have a demanding full time gig that's keeping her busy?
