Welsknight, known cat disliker, gets startled by Minecraft cat mechanics.
Transcript:
Wels: "Silk touch, I do have."
Scar: "Yeah. That's what I need."
[Wels sleeps through the night, and Jellie lays down on Wels' bed while Scar's back is turned.]
Wels: "Oh, hi!"
Scar: "Awwww!!"
Wels sounding genuinely shocked: "I didn't even know that they could do that!"
Scar: "That's so cute! I've so rarely seen them do that."
Wels, overlapping: "When did they add that?!"
Scar: "I feel like it's been in the game for a long time, but I've like, so rarely seen them actually get in the bed."
Wels: "I've never actually seen that before, I didn't even know that was a thing. I mean, I basically never tame the cats, so that's probably why, but..."
Scar: "I've tamed a lot of cats, but maybe they've just never been by beds? I have not seen them do that for a long time."
Wels: "I dunno. Yeah, I've never seen that before. I do need my bed back though, so."
[Wels breaks the bed out from under Jellie, and Scar laughs. After a moment, Wels giggles too.]
I was informed that Hypno has seen the signs Wels left, so I tracked down the clip where he tells the story!
Transcript:
[Silent moment as Hypno starts approaching the signs, sees them, eventually dissolves into laughter.]
Hypno: "Ohhkay, mmm. So, funny story. So funny story. Ummm, nothing happened."
Hypno, after pausing for a moment: "So, here's what the deal is. Wels had those slabs up like...one more block, I think? I don't remember. Either way, I was attacking endermen, I got my levels, and then I went to move forward to like, whatever, and I chucked by sword into the thing. And I was like, oh...that's a problem. So I pushed my way in there to grab my sword, and then there was endermen everywhere, bumping me. So like, the room is jam packed full of endermen, right? All colliding with each other, this thing is up high so like I have to try and jump out of it while I'm being pushed back— Essentially, I got stuck in there, because there's too many enderman, I didn't have a sword. And, yeah, bad things are happening.
Hypno, after another pause: "Anyway, I ended up finding my sword and getting out of there, but that wasn't fun. But, after that happened! Guess what happened after that...take a guess! It happened again. Except this time I didn't make it out unscathed, I was killed, and all of my gear I was just enchanting all dropped in there and [vague noise of suffering] so I had to come back, I made another sword, and I was able to retrieve all my gear, but my goodness. I asked Wels if he could make it so like, if something like that happens we could, you know, just shift in and out of the farm, without being stuck?"
Xisuma "His Name Is Music Backwards" audibly nerding out over the orchestra in Pearl's ballroom.
Transcript:
Xisuma: "Okay. Oh, wow!"
[Pearl chuckles.]
Xisuma: "Yo."
Pearl: "I do have a slightly altered version for that particular music box, there's another music box that plays Creator, which is my vision for this whole ballroom, but—"
Xisuma (slightly interrupting): "Oh my— I...I love the instruments, right!"
Pearl: "Oh, thank you! They're just literally, like, you know, changed into the Minecraft forms of what they would be."
Xisuma: "Well, we got— we got like horns! We got the horn section. I love the cymbals, crash cymbals."
Pearl: [chuckles] "Thank you!"
Xisuma: "Now the rods, I'm not quite so sure, what would— uh, flutes?"
Pearl: "They're the, yeah, like the flutes or the pipe part of the orchestra."
Xisuma: "And then the bows would probably be like bows, but what's the cube they're holding, then?"
Pearl: "I think like, if I remember, I think that's generally like the string part of the orchestra. The strings—"
Xisuma: "Okay."
Pearl, continuing: "So like, if you've got a violin or something. It's been a while since I made this, and it was suggestions from the community, for like, what each little robot would be."
Xisuma: "Yeah, and then the flint and steel?"
Pearl: "I actually can't remember what the flint and steel is."
Xisuma: [laughs] "Oh, it's so good though, I love this! All their little faces!"
