Shoale Beach had quickly become one of Riku's favorite spots in Wonderland. The beach reminding him of the islands he'd left behind when he set out on his journey with his friends. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore put him at ease, letting him relax after a crazy week at work. He'd settled somewhat quickly at his job at the Cafe, and while being a waiter had it's perks there were still moments when he'd been tempted to quit the Cafe a result of some of the customers that came in, having been rude when they didn't receive their complimentary unbirthday gift fast enough; but it was a thought he didn't entertain for long, finding himself actually liking his job. The idea behind unbirthdays and birthdays still confused Riku, from what he'd known and heard most restaurants only celebrated birthdays, but as he'd quickly found out that wasn't the case at TT Cafe, they celebrated both all the time. It still surprised him when regulars walked in and claimed it was their unbirthday each and every time to receive their complimentary cake with their ordered beverage and song before leaving the cafe. Although he still tried to avoid being one of the waiter's to sing, a task that he'd win or lose given how quickly he manged to get to the kitchen or outside and whether or not they were short handed. It was his first day off in a while and so he'd decided he'd spend it at the beach, having missed the atmosphere and finding himself somewhat homesick lately.

The sound of water always calmed Gerald down even a tad, especially the tumbling waves of the sea on a clear day. From an inland city originally the ocean was a rare treat for the royal, and something he’d indulge in as often as he could manage in this otherwise lonely place. Or... At least try. He was in a particularly foul mood today, any disturbance holding the potential to throw him off. And unfortunately for the young man, with a cheeky smile and jovial nature, whatever he had just said was the straw that broke the camel’s back

It was difficult to pull his eyes away from him. Mikoto’s cheeks were tinted red as he nervously glanced away from the stranger, only for his eyes to be drawn back. Shifting in place, he swallowed and bit his lip, allowing his gaze to remain on the young man’s pants. While staring intensely, his heartbeat began to race faster as he agonized over what to say. There was absolutely no way anyone could be prepared to tell someone this, especially when the two of them had never interacted before. And yet, Mikoto knew he just had to tell him. It would have to be now or never.

All that had been going on before he finally gained to courage to speak up. He stepped forward, face flushed with blush, with his hands clenched at his sides. Mikoto took a deep breath, trying to calm himself before speaking. At last he opened his mouth and spoke in a quiet voice.

“Um.. you know your thing is.. yeah.”

Maybe this was too high of a hurdle for him, but how do you casually tell someone that their fly is down?

“Well i’d like to say that isn’t it, but something like that doesn’t really happen by chance does it? I mean you were attacked by like three bots at the same time right? You musta fallen into some kinda trap right? if so these are some impressive bots for an arcade game. Alright come on move you died it’s my turn!”

I’ve Met Aliens, Too! [Madoka & Lance]

     “Wow, this all looks so good...”

     It looks like she had set her sights on going to Twisty’s today, she was in the mood for some ice cream. It all looked absolutely great, and didn’t melt fast at all! How wonderful, it was!

     She had decided on getting strawberry ice cream when she realized there wasn’t really anywhere to sit. Ah, that was... not great. However, she wasn’t that socially awkward. She walks over to a stranger, ice cream in hand -- and hopes they’re nice enough...

     “U-Um... excuse me, sir, do you mind if I sit with you? There’s no open booths...”

Broken hearts

Alize pushed the door open and immediately her ears were blasted with music though a hurting head was nothing to her if it meant she could find a good place to drink. A club wasn’t her first choice, but it was the closest to the job she had finished just in time she wasn’t exactly in party clothing, but it was good enough to get her inside, apparently this was a big, as in popular, place. Well the clubs name could easily give that away, they must have high expectations to be called ‘Ace of Clubs’ it didn’t make sense to Alize so she assumed it was play on words, which she normally didn’t understand. Alize was quick to move to the bar, take a seat, and slump over as her hair, put in a ponytail, hung to her side, and though she had just said she didn’t mind the loud music it was currently getting on her nerves. Alize flagged the bartender and ordered her first drink, which was way more expensive than the things she used to drink and quickly it was brought to her and placed in her sight.

Alize simply looked at the drink for a moment her arms hanging down lifelessly for a moment before reaching up to the necklace on her neck and looking at the half of the locket that remained on it. “...Yeah i need this drink...sorry sweetheart...” Alize gave a sigh letting the locket go so it could fall into view not bothering to stuff it back in her light jacket as she reached and took the drink quickly downing it then turning her head away from the now empty glass setting it down. “Damn! That’s strong...another please...” Alize said this as the glass was taken from her and she placed her arms on the counter burying her head in her arm, it was this month, she remembered it clearly what mother would forgot the birth month of their child? Alize sighed once again lifting her head after a few minutes to look at the name tattooed on her arm she simply stared at it, the name was clear anyone that could read could tell what it said though understanding the pain she felt about it was different. “Anne...mommy loves you so much...i hope you knew that...”

The next drink came and once again Alize stared at it before drinking it quickly, she could feel it starting to kick in and she was only two drinks in, how strong were these things? Though whatever she was feeling was quickly interrupted by the sounds of someone approaching her from behind, in her current mood she had half a mind to throw the glass at them and yell for them to go away. Though fighting against her incline for bad decisions when she had this stuff in her system she slid the glass away from her and turned to look back at the person who came to her. “What do you need kid?” Alize asked her voice insinuating her pure pain, her annoyance, as well as straining the word kid in a way to as if she had hoped they took it as an insult an left her alone. Her necklace hung down the picture open to be seen, it was one of a small young girl and the father of said girl, the two most who were the most important to her.

Well, this was embarrassing. Nanachi hated to admit it but the supplies that were needed for Remitty’s stock were all on a shelf far out of the narehate’s reach.

“Uhmmm...”

A quick look around and her gaze landed upon the man just down the aisle. A small hop and a wave of her paw to hail his attention were done before she spoke up.

“Hey you there! Ya, you! Couldja help me get something from the shelf? Maybe? Please?”

Schools were great places for the modern entrepreneur. They were diverse, easily accessible, and totally full of losers who needed all of their problems whisked away by a mysterious stranger.

That, essentially, was why Harbon was camping out at Hani’i Community College, trying to find another person to make a quick buck off of. Spotting another potential client, she sidled up to a particularly naive-looking (in her humble opinion) boy and grinned, winking at him- it was time to turn the shady businesswoman notch up to eleven.

    『 Hey, you look like a kid with a good head on his shoulders and a future full          a’ potential. You need somethin’ taken care of to keep that future intact?          Anything at all? I can do almost anything for the low, low rate of five bingos         an hour! 』

Seriously, she was desperate.
