It was still so gross moths were one of the few bugs that didn't freak me out but now I don't want to look at them anymore

ahhhh. yeah buying shelled chickpeas is pretty time consuming. too much so for me. trader joes has awesome already deshelled dry chickpeas& that’s what i use. the longest part of the process for me is waiting until the chickpeas have been soaked

oh my god. that’s an absolutely lazy hummus short cut too. making normal hummus isn’t even that hard or time consuming at all. i make my own hummus from scratch and im one of the laziest cooks ever

well, it can take a long time. for our family, we're helping my mom deshell chick peas for at least the better part of an hour, but after that it's smooth sailing, so yeah

now ive had hummus garnished with unsalted peanuts at modern greek restaurants before but peanut butter sounds so freaking nasty. it would totally destroy the flavor of the tahini sauce!

i wasn't in the percussion section of my band in high school (I played to tuba) but I FUCKING HATED the assholes who would fuck around with the percussion instruments because then the percussionists had to fix them and it took forever

it was considered the cool and funny thing to do. i have no idea why. everybody in my high school band treated the percussionists like shit and it pissed me off so much

oh my GOD i have spent so much of my life fixing percussion instruments or yelling at people i catch messing around with them or like searching the entire fucking music wing for the sticks or mallets or tambourine or cowbell that some asshole felt the need to take and then not put back

idek why people think it's okay like they just don't take the section seriously (which is ridic bc i have heard my band try to play without percussion and it is awful)

what there needs to be are more places where people in dangerous situations can get help and be safe, i agree but after my experience i would never recommend somebody to go to one. it sucks and i hate that but i dont want anyone to experience what i experienced

i actually completely 100% agree with you here, more options to keep people safe would be really ideal. especially for people with specific needs in regards to their comfort zone/wellbeing. the whole process should be less streamlined and more personalized in all sorts of fields but i think it should be especially so for something as delicate as mental health.
