oh there's nothing wrong with that obviously! this is my game design teacher asserting that the game isn't good probably simply because he's annoyed that the genre is so popular.

like there's nothing wrong with not playing tlou obviously, for any reason, especially if it's upsetting or triggering. i'm just annoyed that he's supposed to be teaching about game design and is letting his personal bias get in the way of looking at the game objectively, you know?

#binarism tw Yo saying 'male pronouns/female pronouns' is problematic. Not everyone who uses she pronouns identifies as a woman. some people who do identify as women don't use she pronouns, and vice versa. Andrej identifies as nonbinary /and/ she uses she pronouns. Her pronouns don't magically force her gender identity to female.

i totally agree that the male/female pronouns thing is problematic--i didn't anticipate that post would actually go around as a definitive discussion post and if it had i would have been much clearer and more concise w/ my use of language but as it stands i was just using layperson speak that i'm used to! 

but i'm totally aware of this! and in my original tags i said she was most likely gq, but i also hesitate to assign specific wording to other people's identities when they haven't themselves assigned that wording and specifically have said they'd rather not identify themselves (as in the actual quoted article where she does say she lives between gender) and so i used tgnc as an umbrella term that's definitely imperfect while not actually associating andrej with that language itself but rather moving towards a more general discussion--still, when this post started randomly getting notes i definitely regretted not making it /explicitly/ clear that when i said she was not cis i didn't mean she was a trans woman! thanks for the receipts though! i was about to reblog yr reblog saying this i appreciate it!!

It was still so gross moths were one of the few bugs that didn't freak me out but now I don't want to look at them anymore
