Shattered Prismcare — or S!PC — is an AU based off of prismcare, a spin-off of TRP made by @hopethesillyheartwitch
ABOUT THE AU
S!PC is an AU that follows primarily Doom and Barry, where Barry was not revived but everyone else was. S!PC is more or less the same as Prismcare aside from this. Though characters interact differently obviously.
S!PC also covers heavy and possibly triggering content for some readers; this AU will cover: Grief and the grieving process, feelings of helplessness, S/H and suicidal ideation, and more. All of these topics will be handled with care, as a way to tell a story. These will not be romanticized or glorified, and will be properly tagged / warned.

I want to attempt to write something, and since this AU is something that I keep thinking about, I figured maybe this could be fun. The only one I can't really write for yet is Tear because I haven't finished TotK. And while I can write for the Four Swords Heroes and Shadow, I don't think I will just yet.
Who should I write a drabble about next for my Shattered Light AU?
A while back I wrote a scene inspired by @brightlotusmoon‘s Shattered Light, and at her request have posted it here.
It happens on a recon mission with Leo, Don and Raph inside a warehouse used as storage for imported drugs and weapons.
Mikey and April are on lookout in the Battle Shell across the street, April on visual surveillance and Mikey using his psychic abilities to scan the area for anything giving of an energy of harm. He sits on the floor rocking gently, tablet in his hands.
‘Trip wire ahead’ he types, the text appearing in the HUD of don’s goggles.
‘I see it’ Don replies. ‘Tripwire ahead’ he relays to his brothers.
‘Camera around the corner. To the left.’
They halt while Don hacks the camera and renders it for the moment.
‘Guard on his way toward you again’
The progress they make is slow but steady, with Mikey feeding them info they could have never gained without his abilities.
It happens suddenly. Mikey goes stiff a jolt of familiar terror shooting though his mind and body. Leo at the same time feels a prickling at the back of his neck and a feeling of intense wrongness.
‘Mikey?’ he askes into his com.
Don’s HUD suddenly lights up with ‘He’s here He’s here He’s here’ over and over and over.
‘Mikey? Who?’ Don asks
A wave of terror crashes over Leo and sends him to his knees.
‘Fall back’ he forces out.
Leo?’ Raph asks helping to his feet, while Don tries to calm Mikey and get him to clarify what is happening.
‘Mikey’ Leo says.
They hurry back the way they came, Raph steadying Leo against the emotional onslaught. They can hear April over the coms trying to calm Mikey and Mikey’s terrified gasps.
It takes several long minutes to make it back to the Battle Shell. They pile into find April trying to watch the surveillance and calm Mikey, who has forced himself into the corner, hand clutched around his head shaking violently.
At that moment a white non-descript van and a black car pull up at the gates.
Mikey groans low and shudders violently. Leo feels it through his link sees who it is but Mikey is so terrified and Leo can’t leave him like this. His own rage tempered by his brother’s terror.
‘Drive off’ he chokes out. ‘We’ve got to get Mikey back to the lair.’
Later when they have Mikey tucked up on the sofa in front of the TV with Klunk on his lap Leo speaks to his brothers.
‘It was him, the monster in charge of what they did to Mikey’ Leo says.
What!? Raph growls. ‘We could have- ‘
‘No Raph! We couldn’t. We were on recon.’ Leo replies tiredly. It had taken a lot out of him to get Mikey to calm down and neither of them would be sleeping well for the next few days if not weeks.
As angry as he is about the whole situation, Raph knows Leo is right. Too many guns, and with Mikey unable to feed them intel, it was way too dangerous. They hadn’t gone in prepared to fight. He growls in frustration. So damn close!
‘What was he even doing there’ Don asked. It had been the last thing any of them had expected. ‘If they are working together this goes far deeper than we expected.’
‘If those assholes are working together, it means we can take them all out!’ Raph growls.
Leo and Don nod in agreement. They can and they will take that monster down. It will take a lot of planning, but for now they will make sure there youngest is alright.
