I had leftover yarn from the Houndstooth Handwarmers and started a shawl pattern that I am making up as I go, but also writing down as I go so I don’t have to go back and reverse engineer it when I’m done. I’ve already made a decision on the color ways of my samples (of which I’m doing three because this yarn is mystery yarn and I want to have 2 options in the final pattern), but I’m not going to share the theme just yet because I want to see if anyone can guess once I’ve got the others started. A little over four years ago I went to Rhinebeck. It was one of the highlights of my knitting life. Once there I was gifted with this gloriously dyed #wollemeise - Thank-you Theresa @buffalowoolco I wound the yarn and started knitting immediately that first evening 😘 and at every quiet moment. This is my Rhinebeck Memories Shawl. It is knit with a simple repeating pattern to make the most of the yarns intensely dyed colours! Yarn gifted at Rhinebeck, knit with @indianlakeartisans hexegonal needles purchased at Rhinebeck and imbued with my many memories of the new friends I made at Rhinebeck.
