Hello friends! It's been a while since i've wandered tumblr but I'm back momentarily to post a review of some cute items!
This is my very first review with Sunnymelons, a lovely Australian based online store independently run by Elizabeth! For those who are not aware, Sunny Melons is an online store that sells an assortment of accessories and squishies! Don’t know what squishies are? Its a collectable that comes in various sizes, shapes and designs. Squishies can be shaped into anything you imagine from cute animals, inanimate objects and also even food! It's a fun product and also can be used for stress relief since it’s so soft. With every purchase made, 10% is donated charity. In addition, by entering "PASTAEIL" you can receive a 10% discount off your order!
Elizabeth has kindly sent me a package with an assortment of squishies which are super cute so I shall get into the specifics of it in my review! I’ve never reviewed products of this type before so my review may not be the most specific but I shall do my best to describe the items!
Note: Although this is a sponsored post, all opinions made are written without bias.
SUNNY MELONS SQUISHIES REVIEW:
Ordering and Shipping:
This is by far one of the quickest services I've received so far when it comes to ordering and shipping! My package arrived within a span of 6 days which surprised me because I normally receive online packages within a 2-4 week span so it's very impressive. The package arrived in the standard small envelope and all squishies were individually packed in small resealable bags. I received a small note from the owner herself as well a small packaged candy which was a nice surprise!
Below is an image of my package and items:
SQUISHIES:
I received a total of four different squishies!
I shall link all squishies and prices below of the items I received:
x1 mini doughnut squishy - $2.75
x1 mini burger squishy - $2.45
x1 mini panda bun - $1.75
x1 jumbo hello kitty bread squishy - $8.50
As you can see from the listed prices, all items are very affordable! The images below also demonstrate how high quality the items are which is a pretty good deal if you just wanted to buy a few items for yourself or friends.
All squishies were very soft and pretty fun to handle, especially the jumbo bread squishy! I can see why people purchase these items for stress relief, it’s pretty much like a stress ball but nicely shaped into cute items. Each squishy has a key chain attachment which you can attach to your bag. You can however, remove this attachment if you do not wish to use it as a key chain. The squishies do not have any scent and does not experience any rips when used for an excessive amount of time which is a great quality.
Overall, although this is a very short review, I believe that these items are very cute and great to invest in if you are interested in some stress relieving items or just simply some cute items to decorate your bags or room! Once again, you can visit SUNNYMELONS to visit their entire range of squishies and purchase to support a cause!
GRADIENT STICKY NOTES x SPROUT PENS FROM @studyblr-store
Use the code ‘pastaeil’ @ checkout for 10% off on your order // Review below!
Hello everybody, it's been a very long time since I have made a post, let alone been on tumblr! I'm happy to be back and writing a review for some stationery items which I have never done before!
The following items come from STUDYBLR STORE! If you were curious as to why studyblr rhymes with tumblr then it's pretty straightforward, studyblr is a popular hashtag in the Tumblr community. Within the community, everyone curates their own notes, journals, supplies, and tips for successful studying. It's an extremely helpful little community that helps to inspire & motivate good study habits! You don't have to be a studyblr blog to own some cute stationery pieces, I myself am not a studyblr blog but I find a lot of inspiration from these wonderful blogs.
STUDYBLR STORE sells a range of pens, sticky notes, washi tape and a lot more. With the code "pastaeil" you can get yourself a 10% off discount and FREE international shipping off your order! Today, I will be reviewing two items from Studyblr Store, the gradient sticky note tabs and the sprout pens so let's get to it ~
NOTE: Even though this is a sponsored review, this review was made without bias.
STUDYBLR STORE STATIONERY REVIEW
Ordering and Shipping:
I made my order on the 3rd of June where I received a tracking number which allows me to know where my item was while in transit. My item arrived on the 29th of June, making it a total of 26 days from initial order to finally arriving. Although the shipping time took quite a while, I was happy that my items came in good condition. The items were packed in a small envelope that was roughly the sise of my palm.
Below is an image of the front and back of the package upon arrival:

Gradient Sticky Note Tabs:

Who doesn't love pretty sticky notes?! I think I have an issue with hoarding quite a bit of sticky notes so these gradient ones didn't fail to make it into my collection! I chose the sticky note tabs in Aqua since the colour range is pretty much my favourite colours, they're very vibrant!
The sticky notes have a total of 60 sticky tabs in the shape of a quadrilateral, I would best describe it to be a rectangle with one side having soft edges. Among the 60 sticky tabs is 6 colours, meaning that there is 10 notes of each colour.
Here is an image of the Sticky Tabs in Aqua:
These notes are very useful as they are compact and easy to carry around in a presentable set, a great bonus for studying or just casual note taking in textbooks or journals. Writing on the notes is pretty smooth, just your standard paper. They do not bleed through and stick very well to paper surfaces.
Some photos of how the sticky tabs appear:
These are priced at $4.25 USD so I think they're a bit higher than your average stack of sticky notes. However, I would greatly recommend this to anyone who is looking for some medium sized sticky notes for bookmarking pages or making small notes.
Sprout Pens:

Another item I picked up from Studyblr Store was the sprout pens. The pen is your standard sized pen with a leaf at the top, which is there you click so you can start writing! For $5 USD, you can get yourself four sprout pens, which is a pretty good deal considering that it equals to $1.25 per pen. All four pens have black ink in them.
Although the presentation of the pen was very quirky and cute, sadly, the final pay off of the pen disappointed me . The ink on three out of four of the pens came out patchy which left me coming back to rewrite the words/phrases I made. Whenever I wrote, I could hear the scratching of the pen against the paper. I believe this is due to how thin the pen is so for comparison purposes, I compared how the sprout pen and a muji pen would compare. (Photo below!)
Please excuse my writing! ^-^; I normally write in cursive (not the fancy cursive that you see in bullet journals sadly!) so writing normally isn't very natural for me! (I also haven't picked up a pen since my semester holiday started haha)
Wrap Up:
In summary I believe that these items I received were pretty good! I was very happy with the sticky notes I received but the sprout pens didn't live up to my expectations. If you'd like to make a purchase of the items I reviewed today or any other stationery essentials such as pens, pencil cases, washi tapes and more, please head over to Studyblr Store and if you enter the promo code "pastaeil" you receive a 10% discount and free shipping off your entire order.
