1. Why did they pick their first class/job? What about the job they main now?

Zeta's first class was marauder/warrior, initially picked up as a way to help out on the trading ship she smuggled herself out of Ilsabard on, due to it being a common tool for sailors. (She also picked it up due to subconscious influence from her Azem, just like all her shards.) She ended up dropping it because she found it too clunky as a tool for combat (and wasn't very good in a real fight with it), but she picked it back up after 5.3.

Her current main job is dancer, which she picked up after doing ninja for most of Heavensward. The in-universe explanation is after The Thing in Heavensward, Zeta went back to Limsa to sulk for a bit when a DNC troupe showed up and did the DNC thing to her. Suddenly feeling better with no clear reason why, Zeta asked them about how they did that, and got the answer "join us on tour and you will find out ;)" and so she spent the next month or so learning how to be a dancer, and came back to the MSQ with a clearer mind; she stuck with it as her main because it was a natural evolution from her Ninja skills and she likes being quick and adaptable.

(The out of universe explanation for why I main Dancer is bc it was literally pitched to me as a better version of Ninja after I struggled with the job.)
