"I heard they put [some kind of flavor] into the plastic on these game cartridges. I dare you to lick one." He's holding out a couple of... Nintendo Switch games? Where the hell did he even get those?
“Do I even want to know how you got a hold of these?” She was rather curious, but she rather not push to that question now.
She took one of the small cartridges. It was so tiny on her palm and that surely says a lot.
She squinted at the small plastic as she moved it towards her mouth and eventually licked it a bit hesitantly. What could in the world kind of taste can they put on this thin–
“Pfft! WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST TASTE!?” She quickly grabbed the bottle of soda from her bag to try to wash out the bitter flavor. Unfortunately though, it didn’t seem to be going away.
Oh no.

He wanted a knife. Gregg didn’t really need a knife, especially if he was back at home. But obviously, this wasn’t home, and he didn’t have his knife supply with him. There was a wooden knife in his possession, but that thing found its way in a trash can somewhere during his initial nervous breakdown upon entering the city.
But the problem with going on a Knife Quest(™) was the fact that Gregg didn’t really have a lot of money on hand. He put most of it in a savings account for... Himself and Angus’ future. Well, that’s a downer.
The vulpine shook his read violently. No, you can’t worry about Angus right now, save it for some other time. Try to worry about yourself for once, Gregg.
...Maybe it was time for crimes. It would be a bit difficult without someone to back him up, but crimes are an option.
...Screw it. Crimes.
Gregg nonchalantly entered the closest pawn shop, scanning the store for people with knives. Considering the fact that there were people walking around with actual swords, this should be a bit simple. Come on... Come on...
...
Bingo. Some kid with crazy white hair had a knife in its sheath tucked in his pocket. Crimes, Gregg. Crimes. All you have to do... Is sneak up on the guy... reach out while looking inconspicuous... and try to grab it without him noticing.
Gregg tucked his paws in the pockets of his jacket, walked near the white-haired kid-- and promptly bumped into some small child running around. Failed step one.
