Izzi was a fucking slave all her lofe and the moment she is a free woman and starts finding happiness with Gibran she is killed off like??? What the fuck????? And don’t even get me started on Altan whose entire character reeks of ‘finding peace only in death’
oh yeah, dude the way you summarised the whole thing in just a couple sentences really hit home. It’s so painful to think that characters who’ve been victims of such trauma and abuse are going to a ‘better place’ or are finally ‘peaceful’ in death,,, like it's so inherently ableist and perpetuating harmful stereotypes -
this is prob ridiculous but i can't sleep and i think it's because i can't stop thinking about how much better samurai jack could have been....
If Prinny is your favorite PPG villain, who's your "least" favorite?
Mojo Jojo cause he’s repetitive and kinda boring. We could have replaced some of his episodes with Princess ones. I mean, I know they were trying to put him as the Puff’s main counterpart/rival, but MAN! It would have been way much better if it was Princess instead! If they would had expanded Princess’ character off of her spoiled brattiness for once and more into how smart and cunning she actually was?? I honestly don’t know why they spent so much time on developing Mojo’s backstory, like when I was younger I didn't even care about him him or sympathise with him at all cause he was just a ugly green monkey. But what if it was Princess tho? Like she’s the only human girl character that appeared regularly. That would have made more of an impact in trying to create a relatable and compatible main antagonist for the Puffs. And plus going off the the fact that Princess isn't really a villain in the first place! She is more of an anti-heroine! And they could have really developed this more and given her this really fantastic redemption arc where she befriends the Puffs and ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I’m just rambling here...
tl;dr: WE COULD'VE HAD IT ALL WITH PRINCESS MORBUCKS AND SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE MAIN ANTAGONIST IN PPG!
