I have just rewatched Tallahassee and fuck I hate Neal. What he did to Emma was so cruel! This was a 16 year old girl who had spent her whole life being bounced around crappy foster homes and she thought she had finally found someone who loved her, and they were going to have a home (the way she repeats 'home' when they are making plans around Tallahassee). He made her trust him and then he betrayed her. For no good reason. That there did as much damage as being abandoned and spending her life being abused at worst and neglected at best (even living on the streets as a small child). And that's without even considering the fact that Emma was 16 and he was in his mid 20s...

And for some reason her parents named her brother (cough cough do over child cough) after him???

Neal saw this teenager who’d been abused in the foster system and showed her “love” and poor Emma not knowing any different believed him and because of that he fucked up her life, the fucker didn’t even have the decency to use a condom probably and made her go through the worst thing a teenager could do.

Emma was on the streets for most of her life and kept her guard up, I don’t even wanna think about how many people in the system she trusted who betrayed or abused her before she even hit puberty.

I hate that man with every fibre of my being, and don’t even get me started on the charmings. They’re forgetting season 1 when Emma told Mary Margaret the truth about Henry’s dad like why do they think he’s this hero - what parents would accept a grown man impregnating their teenage daughter ?!!! He came back into Emma’s life and acting like his sperm gave him some godly rufhts and was suddenly forgiven for fucking off letting Emma go to jail for something at was HIS IDEA ?!?! When I rewatched it earlier I realised the cops had no leads on the watches so Neal could’ve left and let Emma get away without going to jail (and she could’ve gotten an abortion maybe) but no he called the cops and let her take the fall! He really showed his true colours and Emma should never have forgiven him in canon.

That poor boy is deffo going by his middle name when he learns the truth of his so called hero who fucked up his big sis life.

Quick reminder cherry had EVERY RIGHT to not wanna go see Johnny in the hospital, as if he even wanted to see her. She wasnt the reason he was in there. Even if he did kind of defend her from dally it's still stupid.

Every time I see someone complain about Lorelai because “all Emily wanted was to have dinner with her daughter once a week in exchange for all that money,” I always think about how Emily was still holding a grudge against Lorelai for not getting married as a 16 year old child. It had been 16 years, and Emily still hadn’t let that go. Yes, Emily was a product of her time and her status, and it makes for an interesting character and tv show, but it also means Lorelai’s reasons for reacting the way she does to her mother are a hell of a lot deeper than dinner.
