that's the reason I quit all sports in my last school because they made it all about competition which I wasn't good at handling and couldn't keep up like wtf is the point if it's so strict do they know the concept of just being there to have fun

yeah but i really dont want to quit swimming cuz its like the only sport i actually enjoy... and also our swim team is no-cut so its literally not supposed to be about competition but last year we got a new coach and she’s been trying to make it like that ever since...

last year when she tried to split the team as well the other coach and everyone just kinda ignored her, like she tried to make the “slower swimmers” leave the pool 30min earlier than everyone else but they never did that eheh so im hoping the same thing happens this year where everyone just ignores her
