GIIIIIRL NOT THE T WAY TO SAY “that” STOPP🥹🥹 YOU ARE NOT helping my obsession with this man! This ch was sooo good omg in a way I understand y/n hesitation but then at the same time SHE NEEDS TO JUST LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE IS ABT TO BREAK 🥹😩😩😩😩
Hahaha sorry!!!! I feel like when I write his dialogue I hear it in his accent/ tone so I wanted to make sure you all were in on it with me lol.
And yeah... Y/N makes me feel a little like 🥺. I think her character is afraid of him in a way. If that makes sense. Because it's not just loving someone. It's someone that feels as if he's hers and yet in a lot of ways he'll always be everyone else's too. Like he's mass consumed, put on a stage no matter what.
It doesn't matter she gets him in the quiet confines of the bedroom, loving him means she is his entirely and to a degree Y/N won't ever get "entirety" in return. She will always have to share him and that's hard.
She's protecting herself from feeling like she's just one of many to him. It's not necessarily correct but I understand the dichotomy of their relationship. And I think in a way, Trent is blind to it. He's like ??? why won't you just commit to me but Y/N is (over)thinking that how could he ever be committed to her when when his job is to be available.
He will always take photos with people who ask, he will always be watched by millions, followed by strangers, attractive to people who've never met him, nice when someone meets him on holiday, he'll entertain because it's his job too. And right or wrong, Y/N is worried she is either being "entertained" or she is the "entertainment."
