this slant of light update 🫶🏼
lads, am so sorry for the (huge) delay in posting our last two chapters. it feels piss poor to use it as an excuse but it's been such a crazy time for me. but i love and appreciate every single one of you and just wanted to give a little update on where i'm at:
a. i have a family member (who i live with) in palliative care. they're very sick and it's awful to watch. this is currently taking up most, if not all of my headspace.
2. i am training for two (2!) ten k's that will be run in the same month, not for a while yet (8 weeks!) but this is also taking up whatever else is left of my capabilities and also keeping me sane. (but) running is so hard y'all lol
c. when the next two chapters are ready, you'll all be the first to know. and when they are ready, they'll be posted within the same day, bit of a nostalgic throwback to when life was breezier.
i haven't forgotten about you or our lovely ladies at all, if anything, it's that which has been getting me through. thank you for sticking with us through all of this, this wasn't the plan when i first started uploading and i'm sorry it is now but i promise i won't abandon this fic xx
