Current Hair Routine - Goal: Use up all extra conditioners

Seriously if you’re natural and you have less than 3 conditioners in your arsenal I LONG to be where you are. I managed to get rid of a ton, but of the ones I kept I still have too much. But since I’ve taken to wearing a ‘fro indefinitely I’ve decided to just use them up. I have at least 5 conditioners to use and I’m gonna use them all dang it!

So at the moment these guys are part of my routine. If you are unfamiliar with the #TightlyCurlyMethod add a .com to it and check it out. I used this method all throughout college up until mid-last year when I started truly experimenting with other methods- and brought my happy butt right back to it this month. Sat/Sun - Shampoo, Rinse Condish-Organix Coconut Milk, Leave in- Aveeno or HE Hello Hydration Tuesday/Wednesday - Rinse Condish-Organix Coconut Milk, Leave in- Aveeno or HE Hello Hydration Detangling: Once out of the shower I part my hair in four sections and start with the back (hair is already loaded with leave in condish). I take small sections and proceed to wide tooth comb, denman brush, then finger detangle the sections to ensure complete detangling and clumping (which my hair never quite gets right. Also you really don’t have to do all that, I’m hoping to drop one of these over time)

Cold Weather Addendum: So since it’s starting to get really cold I add an extra step after the detangling process of adding a couple of drops of Jojoba oil and my home made Shea butter mix* to each section so my hair doesn’t dry out (lose moisture) after one day. My hair also air dries faster doing this. In total this all probably takes 35-45 minutes *tops* only because I separate my sections out. I do this because my hair does separate much due to its nature of being super tight and coily.   *Mix - softened Shea butter, castor oil, olive oil, jojoba oil. Put it in a bowl and mix. Add more of oil of choice during blending to make it smooth.

Whipping up some #sheabuttermix today! Like I said in the video I've had this shea butter for almost 3 years now and have barely used it because my hair hated the #SheaButter by itself. So Im hoping that this mix will work better for me. (Plus I have to use this bc I paid money for this stuff and Im going to use it someway somehow lol.) #teamnatural #Naturalhair
