the sound of foot fall through crunching leaves echoes from beneath alyx's boots that early evening ; clutching a stack of old wool blankets she would stash throughout the woods ; a fail safe for the impending full moon . that way , no matter what she would end up , she would not be far from something to cover up with . a soft smile permeates her features , freckles illuminated by the glow of the setting sun casting itself through the trees . swiftly , she then gathers a dirty one she had found on her way back to her cabin .
brows furrow when she notices a girl skulking around her cabin . something in her wants to let the monster out , rip her to shreds ; but for now she refrains . she clears her throat , alerting the girl of her presence . ❝ . . . excuse me , ma’am . this is private property . care to explain t’ me why you’re lurking ‘round my house ? ❞
