Feral Shed!cat is getting used to being indoors. Sort of.
Update on shedcat. After several months during which she was missing, she has reappeared. Not only is she back, she has apparently decided I am not likely to murder her at any moment, and now she is content to laze around in the grass 10 feet away from me while I am outside tending the plants. Getting closer!

Update on Shedcat (the stray/feral living under our shed. I’ve been feeding her twice a day for about six weeks now.) Saw her this morning. Walked out back, and she was just coming out from under the shed. Instead of running like she usually does, she just backed up a bit and kept an eye on me as I did some work on the patio. Progress!
There is a cat living in our shed. Very skittish. Probably feral. I’ve been feeding her for about six weeks now, hoping to get her (we’ve been calling it a “her” for no good reason other than convenience for now) to trust me a bit. So far, she’s staying low, although she did once allow me to watch her eating from a safe distance. I’m so hoping to gain her trust some day. At least the weather is warming up now. We put a bed in the shed next to the hay pile she had been sleeping in and she seems to be using it, and she’s devouring the wet/dry mix I’m giving her.
Let me love you, you dang cat!
