After ch.21 of ltr came out I had to make some adjustments to the sequel to Cactus Bloom that I've been working on. I'm half tempted to leak a snippet of it. This fic will really dive into the relationship Jesse and Xander had and after that bombshell, I really wish I already had this completed.

I know I said I’d update but uuuhh I had some technical difficulties and I need to get my bf to get word doc for me bc all my documents have been locked out (it won’t even let me move them to drive). And I haven’t had time to do that bc I got a new job and it’s been keeping me busy. Which is also why I’ve been pretty inactive.
So I haven’t abandoned anything... I just can’t work on them lol but hopefully that’ll change soon!

So I’m considering starting a patreon but I’m not 100% sure if it’s worth it or not. So I want to get everyone’s honest opinion. If I set up a patreon where a $1 unlocks all the rewards, would anyone be interested? Please tell me if you would or wouldn’t, because I won’t put the effort into making it if it turns out no one would be interested.
But yeah, a $1 would unlock everything. Rewards would include (but may change, bc I haven’t sorted it out completely): weekly sneak peeks at up coming stories, the ability to vote on the next story to be updated, the ability to vote on the next story I’ll start, a chance each month to get a a 3k story of your choosing (within the pairings/fandoms I write, with certain limitations on subject matter), and maybe even a bi-annual 5k fic giveaway. And possibly other rewards. Like access to writing streams or something, IDK. I can get input from other people with things they’d be interested.
But would this be something people would be interested in or should I scratch the idea all together? (No hard feelings if people say pass. I fully understand.)
Fun thing I learned yesterday. (And I say this with the upmost sarcasm). But there’s something called Dental Trismus. I didn’t know about it, so I figured I’d share in case anyone else suffers this or is going in. Got some work done yesterday on an old filling that fell out. It took 4 shots of the anesthesia for the area to go numb (talk about worst fucking nightmare). Thanks to that, I was numb for like 6 hours. Afterwards, I went into excruciating pain in my jaw and I could barely open it (as in if I tried to stick even one finger into my mouth I shouted in pain. So eating solids was out of the option.)
Basically Dental Trismus can happen after you do dental work, either from keeping your mouth open super long or getting anesthesia done. It’s like a mild, temporary form of lockjaw. You can’t open your mouth. Radiating pain. It only lasts for a couple days to two weeks, but still. It really fucking sucks. I can open my mouth a little more today and I’m hoping I’ll be at least close to normal by the end of the day, but yesterday was a bitch to deal with. Only thing you can do for it is take some Advil and put ice on it. So yeah, heads up to anyone that might be going in for some dental work. I would have loved to be warned about this possibility after getting four fucking shots.

Boo. As much as I wanted to, I don’t think I’ll be able to get to participate much in bottom!Harry fest. I’ll have one more installation for the fest (which will be a long one-shot, so consolation prize?), and then in December I’ll be releasing a holiday special update for the Gucci & Chanel series that’s about 50% done. After that I’m going to work on giveaway fic and finally start updating my other fics.
I MANAGED TO PASS PROGRAMMING WITH A B. HOLY SHIT. I’VE NEVER BEEN SO GLAD TO GET A B BEFORE. I WAS SO SURE I’D BOMB THE CLASS.
(And given that I’m use to straight A’s, this was giving me soooo much anxiety. I will happily take this B.)
