Right worthy sir, I beg your pardon for my presumption in so writing, but in the course of my work for our Alpine Greening Institute, a gentleman happened to ask me a question about shepherding that I was unable to answer, but I immediately thought of you as one who might. This man, one Lord Ghalleon Helseth, reached out to us for assistance restoring his family lands in the eastern highlands of Coerthas; these lands, like much of our highlands, once supported great flocks of karakul, but have lain largely unproductive since the Calamity. Though the Institute employs botanists who may advise him about cold-hardy crops, we lack a dedicated livestock specialist who can answer questions about the selection of breeds, special care considerations for extreme wintry climes, and what sort of shelter and watering facilities must needs be constructed. If it pleases you to offer your services as an advisor, I have copied below his address, should you wish to write; I have also given him the address of your establishment in the Lavender Beds, if it be more convenient to conduct such business face-to-face.
