TIL that you can give Sheffield a home! I never talked to him after giving him a Nuka Cola in my first playthrough so I was surprised by a dialogue prompt this time around. I sent him to Sanctuary (I hope he makes it; he's not essential from what I understand) and I'm gonna have him tending tatos. I already built him his own little Nuka Cola shack and I'm going to give him some armored new duds too.

Now I wish I could just adopt all the homeless kids too (I know there's mods).

Forgot that once you have a regular nuka cola, it’s a dialogue option to give it to him. No throwing required 😭
