Pushing passed the curtains of the gorilla and returning backstage after his huge announcement to the W/W/E Universe, the first person Jason saw was Trinity and he didn’t think his smile could get any bigger. Running over to his wife to be, he lifted her up into his arms and held her tight to him, burying his face into the crook of her neck. He needed a moment. A moment to just soak this all in. A year ago, he didn’t think he’d be here. He thought he put in everything had to offer and that from now on he could help the future make it. Then he got the phone call, just last night and he felt a burst in his heart. It was a mixture of relief and unadulterated excitement. He couldn’t say NO.
This was where he was meant to be. “I’m back, babe. I’m fuckin’ back.” He laughed softly into her skin before pulling back so he could look at her. His vision was a little blurry and he wondered if he had started crying. “I’m gonna need ya to start pushin’ some buttons and get yer ass on RAW. Don’t really like the thought of bein’ back in the game without you by my side.”
